The training course Includes a short introduction to the FIM Synchronization Service, but the main focus is on the FIM Portal and Service DB. 
 

At the end of this course you will understand, among other key points:

  • FIM 2010 concepts, components, and deployment scenarios

  • How to manage users, groups, policies, and credentials through the FIM 2010 portal

  • How to synchronize identity data between FIM 2010 portal and systems such as AD

The FIM 2010 Synchronization Service is the foundation for the FIM 2010 Portal.

This 4 day course provides you with an in-depth understanding of how the FIM 2010 Synchronization Servicem can be used to synchronize identity data across multiple sources according to business rules.

Course highlights include:

  • How to configure the Metaverse schema
  • Create management agents for a number of external sources, including Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) and SQL Server
  • Provision and control AD DS and AD LDS accounts, including groups with Exchange mailboxes
  • Configure management agents, including connector filters, join rules and attribute flow

Part I:
Omada Compliance Reporting Center
Learn how to report on identity and access management data from FIM 2010 and target systems, such as SAP and SharePoint.

Part II:
Omada Compliance Attestation Manager
This course will prepare you to automate the entire attestation process at your organization - from the creation of attestation surveys to the generation of compliance reports.
