OMADA CUSTOMER HYPOVEREINSBANK WINS KUPPINGERCOLE'S EUROPEAN IDENTITY AND CLOUD AWARD

In recognition of its excellent identity and access management project, KuppingerCole has awarded Omada’s customer HypoVereinsbank the European Identity and Cloud Award 2013 at a ceremony at the EIC Conference in Munich on Wednesday May 14th.

HypoVereinsbank received the award for its project -“Integration of Provisioning and Access Governance in a Complex Banking Environment” due to its business focus, global scale, and groundbreaking approach to efficient onboarding of business applications.

The IAM/IAG solution in place at HypoVereinsbank, is targeted to cover 1,200 business applications that are both own applications and external services. With a sharp focus on business/IT alignment, the Omada solution was implemented in a short timeframe with a clear business perspective, helping to meet regulatory compliance specifications.

The solution is built on Omada Identity Suite and consists of various components such as access request handling, access rights repository, central compliance system with recertification and re-validation of access rights, and control reports for detecting “toxic” combinations of access rights. The overall solution approach, a rapid delivery, on-boarding concept, and the successful deployment of the complex project qualified the project for the European Identity Award.

Receiving a KuppingerCole European Identity Award is a great recognition and a token for a well done, leading-edge project that has delivered on its promises.

It is the third time an Omada solution receives this recognition at the KuppingerCole event, as BMW Group and Ecco Shoes has previously received the European Identity Award for Best Identity Management Project.

OMADA TO PRESENT AT ISACA COMPLIANCE EVENT IN NYC

CEO Morten Boel Sigurdsson has been selected as speaker at the ISACA Conference in New York on October 26th, where he will introduce Omada’s pragmatic and powerful approach to achieve deep access intelligence and closed loop auditing by utilizing business intelligence techniques.

KMD SELECTS OMADA IDENTITY SUITE AND MICROSOFT FIM 2010

KMD, a large Danish IT company, has chosen to implement an Identity Management solution based on Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager and Omada Identity Suite.

The solution will provide KMD with efficient and compliant user provisioning capabilities against a number of key target systems, including SAP and mainframe based systems.
