Danisco selects Omada for global Identity Lifecycle Management and Compliance
Copenhagen, December 19, 2007 – Omada, a leading Microsoft solution provider for Advanced Role Based Access Control (RBAC) and Compliance, announced today that Danisco, one of the world’s leading producers of ingredients for food and other consumer products, has selected Omada to provide a uniformed Identity Lifecycle Management solution within the global enterprise.
The combination of Microsoft Identity Lifecycle Manager (ILM) and Omada Identity Manager (OIM) makes a robust and comprehensive joint solution that will provide Danisco with a consistent global process to manage its over 6000 users. The identity lifecycle management processes will be automated by dynamic workflows with approvals, replacing most of their manual administration. The advanced RBAC and compliance reporting feature integrated within the joint solution, will give Danisco a constant and accurate overview of their users and access.

The state-of-the-art solution will be implemented within Danisco’s heterogeneous system environment, integrating data across the system to deliver a uniformed and comprehensive identity lifecycle management process worldwide.
With an advanced RBAC in place, access will automatically be provisioned by the solution based on an employee’s roles in the company. This replaces manual provisioning while increasing the level of productivity.
The robust joint solution will enable Danisco to reduce the resources normally taken to generate an exhaustive compliance report. The compliance reporting feature in the solution will allow the leading food ingredient producer to have a complete overview of granted access rights, and at the same fulfill regulatory requirements.
