Omada Appoints Veronika Westerlund to Head Up Global Partner Program and Drive Growth
Experienced security channel profile to expand the identity management and access governance leader’s global presence
COPENHAGEN, Denmark – July 7, 2016 – Omada, a market leader in IT security solutions and services for identity management and access governance, has appointed VP Channels & Alliances Veronika Westerlund to head up the global Omada Partner Program. The partner program is a key driver in the company’s aggressive growth strategy.
As part of Omada’s aggressive growth strategy, the company is investing heavily in its existing partner program. Heading up the efforts is Veronika Westerlund, who joined Omada earlier this year as Vice President Channels and Alliances.
“From her previous positions in IT security companies FireEye and TrendMicro, Veronika Westerlund has extensive experience in developing partner programs, driving growth, and improving profitability and performance through international field channel sales teams. Her background is a perfect match for Omada’s growth plans and positioning strategy, which utilizes the heightened awareness among enterprises that identity management – the discipline of controlling which users have access to what data – is a fundamental security practice,” said Omada CEO, Morten Boel Sigurdsson.
Ready to grow the channel
“It is a very exciting time for Omada. We are experiencing massive interest from enterprises that are increasingly concerned about data protection and user privacy. With the investments now being made in the partner program, we are ready to dramatically grow our value added reseller channel to cover more markets than ever before,” said Veronika Westerlund about the partner strategy.
In addition to Value Added Resellers, the Omada Partner Program comprises Global Solution Partners who support major customer engagements and whose services include implementation and maintenance services around the world; and Technology Partners, who deliver additional value to Omada’s solutions, such as complimentary capabilities in for example perimeter security and endpoint security.
“Through our partners, we are able to enhance the value customers get from our identity management and access governance solutions: We can address concerns relating not only to cybersecurity, but also to compliance with legislative and industry specific regulations. And we can offer the high quality implementation services, Omada customers are accustomed to, alleviating enterprise concerns about implementation issues and adaptation,” explained Veronika Westerlund.
